The opportunity


EY is looking for an Account Executive to support the strong growth of our Snowflake platform which includes both Professional Services & Software. This is a key sales role within the organization where you will be helping businesses transform how they manage and share their data assets.


At EY, our Snowflake team resides within our Data and Analytics practice. The Snowflake team is focused on helping clients transform and mobilize data with near-unlimited scale and performance. This role isn't about selling technology but more how EY can offer innovative solutions across industries. Our Account Executive will help customers solve business challenges and realize their greatest ambitions.


As an Account Executive, you will work closely with EY Leaders to collaboratively identify new business opportunities among new and existing customers through understanding of their needs and leveraging all the capabilities and skills EY has to offer.


In your role you will be able to leverage:

  • EY's Global alliance with Snowflake to leverage their solutions and capabilities across industries
  • EY's commitment to work collaboratively to develop sector-based assets utilizing Snowflake
  • Direct relationships with EY partners and Practice Leaders reducing process-related friction typically associated with large global organizations while accelerating sales cycles
  • EY's practitioners and subject matter experts further legitimizing EY as the leader in the Snowflake market


Your key responsibilities

  • Engage existing customers and prospect new opportunities to present Snowflake and complimentary Data and Analytics offerings and capabilities
  • Drive new business with focused strategies targeting key accounts and contacts
  • Participate on EY account teams and sector market boards
  • Co-develop go to market plans for Snowflake line of business within EY
  • Manage key contact relationships and opportunities in flight with existing customers
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management matters including engaging with internal team members that may be supporting your account in other areas.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Facilitate contract negotiations and close software & Professional Services sales agreements
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Work closely with Snowflake account executives and sales personnel with focus on identifying client opportunities and leading joint sales pursuits
  • Prepare reports on account status


Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions aligned customer current and future needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities


To qualify for the role you must have

  • 10+ years of experience selling Data and Analytics software solutions and professional services
  • Experience creating tailored holistic solutions that go beyond software implementation
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field


Ideally you will also have:

  • Knowledge of the Snowflake data platform or other cloud computing-based data cloud products
