We are hiring an Account Executive to join our Growth Team!

Our Spare headquarters is located in Vancouver, BC, but this position is open to remote work options within Canada.


As an Account Executive, you will...
  • Engage the public sector market with an outbound approach, mapping your territory, planning your structure, and cultivating relationships with new customers;
  • Prepare, present and close new business through a detailed reach out plan, various touch points, product demonstrations, virtual events and other virtual meetings;
  • Manage and execute the RFP process in collaboration with our Proposal, Solutions Consulting, and Marketing teams;
  • Manage negotiations and contractual agreements with support from our executive and legal team;
  • Grow your pipeline through working cross-functionally with Marketing and Business Development;
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by understanding your customers' goals and and guiding them through the sales journey to ensure their success;
  • Listen to customers, identify what success means to them, and drive growth by helping them achieve their goals with Spare's products and services

About You ✨

Must Haves
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in B2B SaaS
  • Successful track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills with both external customers and internal teams
  • Highly skilled in delivering a compelling sales pitch, listening to your customers pain points, and effectively communicating value propositions to audiences of all levels
  • Ability to demonstrate software to various audiences in an easy-to-understand way
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, with strong attention to detail, to ensure that customer expectations are always met
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Salesforce
Nice to Haves
  • Experience in selling to public sector or government (B2G), including RFPs
  • Experience and understanding of public transportation industry and/or transit technology
  • Working knowledge of the MEDDPICC sales methodology
