Job Description

Our client, a distributor of best-in-class specialty foods across Canada, is seeking a Account Specialist to support & grow current accounts and introduce a line of natural wellness products. On-site visits to customers in Eastern Ontario is required.

The Job:

• Provide exceptional customer service to current customers
• Elevate and enhance customer care through on-site visits (Eastern Ontario)
• Responsible for product assortment, new listings, promotions, seasonal programs
• Serve as brand ambassador and educator
• Guide category positioning and messaging
• Expand item store count penetration
• Focus on business development with new store counts
• Oversee product flow, freshness, tastings, demonstrations & events
• Share best practices with sales team

Requirements:

• 5-7 years customer facing, sales & account management experience
• Knowledge of specialty and gourmet foods
• Experience in sales of natural wellness supplements

• Solid English communication skills
• Strong data & Excel management skills
• College diploma or university degree is preferred
• Access to a reliable vehicle is required for travel up to 15%/quarter

Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
