Job Description

A sole practitioner CPA office located in Kitsilano works primarily on notice to reader tax returns and bookkeeping.

You will be responsible for bookkeeping and preparing personal and corporate tax returns. The position involves data entry, problem solving and working independently. The ideal candidate has experience with Microsoft Excel formulas.

Responsibilities

· Scanning, sorting and renaming documents into the database

· Preparing working papers to track clients’ transactions

· Preparing documents to summarize results

· Preparing corporate and personal tax returns

· Prioritizing client work to meet or exceed deadlines

Requirements

· Intermediate level working knowledge (Functions) of Microsoft Excel

Preferred skills

· Knowledge of QuickBooks Online

· Caseware

· Tax software program

Work Environment

You will work at the office.
