Administrative Assistant provides support to other employees and coordinates business communication. Their key duties include directing phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing meeting schedules. Administrative Assistants perform general clerical work for their department, create and maintain recordkeeping systems, schedule appointments, take messages for staff, and facilitate communication with clients.

Be professional, polite, and attentive, while also being accurate. Always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handling a variety of clerical and administrative tasks
  • Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors
  • Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication
  • Greet and assist visitors
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email and mail
  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate party

Employee Engagement

  • Tidy, organize kitchen, coffee bar areas.
  • Assist Social Committee with events
  • Assist with planning and execution of all quarterly and annual company events such as the Christmas party, St. Patrick’s Day, Playland, Halloween, etc.
  • Assist the Chair of the social committee to facilitate all planned social outings, office events and fitness activities.
  • Carry out other related tasks and directives from the Executive Assistant and Office Manager, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
