Downtown Hyundai/Genesis has an immediate opening for a driven Automotive Detailer to join our successful dealership in our brand new Autoplex facility in downtown Toronto.

If you are a dedicated automotive detailer who is committed to providing exceptional customer service to your internal clients, this is the role for you.

About the Role:

• Detail interiors and exteriors of customer and internal vehicles
• Inspect and quote detailing services on exterior or interiors for customers and internal vehicles
• Polish, wax, buff, touch-up, refinishing on exterior of vehicle
• Organizing daily deliveries with sales department to ensure delivery process goes smoothly
• Cleaning used inventory in a timely manner for used car department
• Support service team with customer washes/detailing
• Report any incident which may affect the appearance or condition of a vehicle as soon as possible
• At DAG, your colleagues are your customers and you are expected to treat them that way – deliver exceptional customer service to your coworkers, team members and colleagues in other departments
• Follow department procedures
• Provide technical assistance to team members and colleagues
• Keep the detailing bays and underground facilities clean and tidy, including the removal of any hazardous waste or other debris
• Follow safety requirements, including but not limited to processing of MSDS sheets on all products carried and OHSA requirements
• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, provincial and local regulations that may affect the department
• Maintain professional appearance
• Other duties as assigned

About you:

You thrive in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in providing exceptional service to both external and internal customers and always while acting with integrity. You have the following qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year detailing experience in fast-paced auto dealership
• Skilled at providing an exceptional customer experience to internal and external clients
• Strong team player
• Proven track record for setting and achieving performance goals
• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with no demerit points
