Position Summary:

The Bellperson at Eldorado Resort serves as the guest's liaison/ambassador for both hotel and non-hotel services. They are an information center for our guests, regardless of whether inquiries concern in-hotel or off-premises attractions, facilities, services, or activities. Knows how to provide concise and accurate directions.

What will you be doing?

• Develops a strong knowledge of the hotel's facilities and services and of the surrounding community
• Coordinates bellman tasks and duties of the day
• Performs all duties such as delivering luggage, room drops, room moves etc.
• Maintain and enforce Eldorado Resort’s policies and procedures as they pertain
• Handles guest complaints and problem solve to the degree possible, as per directed by management
• Monitors parking lot and registers hotel and restaurant guests license plate. Ensures lobby is always clean and tidy
• The Bell person will report the Front Office management team and closely with the concierge to ensure smooth effective running of the front office department

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a customer-focused industry, hotel, winery, front desk, admin, reception, tourism, etc. are all considered assets.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Comfortable working on your own as well as part of a team
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time, and lift heavy items as needed
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays

When you arrive at the Manteo Resort (3762 Lakeshore Road), feel free to park in any space available to our guests! Once enterting the Manteo Resort lobby, the job fair will be located in the first meeting room to the left of the lobby (Waterfront Room 1). No need to book an interview timeslot, show up any time between 11am-2pm and we will be there!
