On Side Restoration is looking for a bilingual Instructional Designer who will be responsible for the design and development of French course materials.

Reporting to the Director of Learning and Knowledge Management they will work with the current training staff and numerous SMEs to identify and build needed courseware. The ID will actively be working on the design and development of projects assigned to them as well as completing the French revisions on numerous legacy courses as they are transferred from an older LMS system into a new Learning Management System. The ID will work through projects from beginning to end and provide guidance, leadership, knowledge, and the advice necessary to enable the appropriate course material to be created within a given timeline.

What you'll be doing...

• Collaborating with subject matter experts to complete needs analysis and job task analysis to design and develop behavioral and technical curriculum for our French adult learners.
• Designing training for diverse modalities such as: instructor-led F2F sessions, e-learning, micro-learning, and webinars in French.
• Developing and maintaining strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
• Researching best practices related to learning for design, delivery, and implementation improvements.
• Evaluating courses or programs, implementing revisions and updating documentation to meet established curriculum standards.
• Working effectively in a collaborative team environment and independently as required.

What you bring...

• Perfectly bilingual in French and English.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the field of adult education and/or developing course curriculum.
• Post-secondary education in instructional design, adult education, educational technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design theory and best practices.
• Experience using various new media development products and tools.
• Expertise with using Storyline Articulate.
• Top notch verbal and written communication in both French and English.
• Must have strong project management skills, including time management and organization.
• Proven ability to take initiative, work independently and manage project deliverables and deadlines.
