OLBC is a boat rental, valet, and exclusive members company revolving around delivering High-end Luxury surf and pleasure boats to the lake street boat launch in dt kelowna throughout the summer season.
Yard Assistant Boat Detailer:
As a Yard Assistant, you play an essential role in helping deliver hassle-free boating.
Your job is to make sure the boats are clean and ready to go out, reporting any issues to our in-house mechanic, and ensure the boat is stocked with all safety equipment, buoys, ropes and water toys to ensure members enjoy their day on the lake.
Primary duty:
- Cleaning, maintaining, and re-fuelling of the club's boats
Criteria:
- Has the ability to work outside during hot weather while performing demanding tasks such as washing and waxing boats, lifting and carrying heavy objects, frequent standing, kneeling.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with members, comprehend basic instructions, and correspond effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to proactively carry out the functions of the job without direct supervision being required.
- Has a good working attitude and discipline at work.
- Personality/ Customer service mindset - The company exists to provide excellent customer service to our members so they can enjoy the services of the club.
