We're looking for a dedicated Senior Business Analyst who shares our company's goals and values. The successful candidate will have expertise in software development, and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management. The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the research, development and testing of business analysis tools and procedures to be used by all departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with account managers to analyze technical customer requirements;
  • Analyze and validate business needs for customer projects based on business objectives;
  • Participate in technical and functional requirements gathering for various web and application projects in multiple industries;
  • Analyze technical documents, specifications, or call for tenders documents;
  • Breakdown high level requirements into quotable tasks;
  • Prepare estimation documents based on detailed technical analysis;
  • Participate in the creation of call for tender response documents (RFPs);
  • Act as a technical representative on discovery calls with account managers and customers;
  • Propose concrete solutions related to customer needs;
  • Estimate hours required for technical projects related to web, application, and software development;
  • Document and visually present all project analysis and conceptualization work;
  • Document functional specifications and business rules.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, management, or any other relevant field.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis in the field of computer science, programming, or computer architecture.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of the various stages of web project production;
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Excellent knowledge of software system architecture;
  • Up-to-date with the latest web trends and best practices;
  • Experience with requirements gathering and documentation tools;
  • BI experience and expertise;
  • Excellent writing skills in both French and English.
