Rotation/Shifts

Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Diploma from a recognized College Course in Cardiology Technology, Electrophysiology, Paramedic or Respiratory Therapy, RN or RPN program;
  • Students currently enrolled within the Cardiovascular Technology program after completion of year 1, or similar ECG training for students currently enrolled within the Electrophysiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, RN, or RPN programs may be considered on the premise that they successfully complete the diploma;
  • Current CPR certification;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Sound judgement, sound problem solving skills, prioritization skills, and initiative;
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time standing/walking;
  • Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Successful completion or eligibility to complete the CSCT exam;
  • Membership with the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists;
  • Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
