Job Details

Wage: $23.00/hr

Status: Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 9:00pm

Location: 6880 Financial Drive, Mississauga

Important Information:

  • Foodservice and administrative experience required

  • Exhibits creative problem-solving skills: can think “outside of the box.”

  • Communicate catering requests and modifications to the Kitchen team promptly to ensure they can be properly executed.

  • Receive all catering orders from the Service Coordinator and follow up on all requests.

  • Pick up/ receive catering orders from the Compass Kitchen onsite to set it up in the Conference rooms

  • Lead and direct the Agency Staff when requested to support the floor.

  • Liaise with the catering team to rectify any requests or changes. Prepare catering to debrief for large events when needed.

Job Summary

As a Catering Lead/Coordinator, you will:

  • Oversee all dining and food service operations
  • Know, understand, and comply with all relevant operational standards and procedures
  • Ensure strict compliance with Compass' Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations
  • Supervise and organize meal deliveries


About you:

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the Food Service/ Hospitality Industry
  • You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
  • A strong motivator, mentor, and leader
  • A very detail-oriented individual and a dedicated team player
  • Good client relationship skills
  • Food and Beverage experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel.)
