Robert Half is sourcing for a Bilingual Collections Specialist for a long term engagement. This is an exciting role with the expectation of wearing multiple hats
The Bilingual Collections Specialist will be responsible for
- Coordinating with partners to ensure accurate account creation and maintenance of customer data
- Collection calls, reviewing payment errors
- Notify customers of credit line closures
- Assist with resolving customer complaints
- Provide pricing and delivery information
- Notify customer for rejected requests, trade spends, deductions/chargebacks or claims
- Investigate and bring resolution for shortages, overages and damages
- Ensure debit and/or credit for customers are completed
- Review Carrier exception reports and inform sales rep and customer if any action is needed
- Making changes to customer files - addresses, contact details, payment terms
- intake Orders, Order management and Cancellations/Returns, send reminders via email/phone
- Provide customer service and maintain professional relationships
The Bilingual Collections Specialist will be able to push the envelope while maintaining a polite, respectful partnership. Ideal candidate will have an analytical mind set, be a critical thinker and a problem solver.
Taking initiative, working with different managers, being resourceful and managing multiple priorities are some of the attributes to make you successful in this role.
This role is going to start onsite (for training purpose) and has a potential to become hybrid.
Excellent communication skills and a polite demeanor is a must of this role.
Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bilingual in English/French is a MUST
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrate knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices
- Strong investigative, data interpretation/manipulation
- Ability to work in a team environment, but also able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to interact effectively with internal staff and external customers and possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Above average organization, excellent follow up, and project management skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to establish priorities
- Advanced Excel Skills
