Job Description:
Provide and or assist with all activities of daily living.
Collaborate with residents / team members in the development and implementation of individualized plan of care.
Performs tasks according to company policy and scope of employment.
Assists with residents restorative care programs, leisure activities, exercise, etc.
Communication and report relevant information regarding resident care and safety.
Details:
The ideal candidate will be resident focused, accountable, flexible and organized. Candidate will have a strong attention to detail, providing safe and competent ethical resident care. Candidate will communicate and report pertinent and relevant information and recognize and report situations that need to be escalated for support. Candidate will be comfortable in collaborative and team environments and have experience working in geriatrics / long term care.
On the job training may be provided. Alzheimer / Dementia care course is an asset but not required.
