Play a key role in national support operations by purchasing, negotiating and deploying a full range of medical equipment to equip operational teams at all of our health care centres and keep our medical equipment at the forefront of industry standards.



The impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

Oversee management and maintenance of client-focused solutions throughout the TELUS HCD team in connection with the associated medical products and services by minimizing risks, optimizing value for TELUS HCD, and improving processes at the national level.

Here’s how


  • Manage all activities relating to the smooth operation of our Medical Equipment Maintenance Program while meeting deadlines and respecting the allocated CAPEX budgets
  • Facilitate provisioning of products and services for our internal clients with a diverse range of sometimes complex requirements, through competitive RFP processes including bids as well as information and quote requests
  • Collaborate with other services (Operations, IT, Safety, Products, Finances) on diverse equipment deployment initiatives aimed at optimizing replacement processes for obsolete equipment
  • Perform sourcing exercises and present recommendations to leadership before proceeding with major expenditures
  • Conduct detailed negotiations to ensure maximum performance for TELUS capital
  • Consult with other departments at TELUS including the Legal department, Risk Management and the verifications team, as well as external organizations, to minimize legal and business risks
  • Perform various analyses to assist in selecting the best equipment brands and models (e.g. studying data on the needs of different care centres, supplier performance data, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Ability to use standard computing tools (e.g. GSuite, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Knowledge and basic experience in at least one of the following areas is a key asset: Medical services, professional services, supply operations, logistics and provisioning management services
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple customer priorities and requests and meet strict deadlines Practical knowledge
  • Organizational and time-management skills and abilities Intermediate
  • Listening skills and verbal and written communication abilities
  • Bilingualism required (French/English)
