Job Description

MCIC Courier is a locally owned and run company and we have been operating on the Eastern Shore for over 13 years.

The current job offering is for a designated daily route, where you will get to know both the area and regular customers.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently, loves to drive, prioritizes safety, has an eye for detail, and can offer great customer service. Industry experience is an asset.

Details:

• Company van provided
• $18-$19 / hour to start
• Approx 40-50 hrs / week
• Monday to Friday
• Start time - To be determined, 7:30 - 8:30
• Located in Burnside Park
• Permanent position

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 35 kg, unassisted
• Must be licensed to drive for at least 5 years
• Clean drivers abstract (2 years)
• No criminal record

Responsibilities:

• To ensure pickup and delivery of goods to/from predetermined customers
• To ensure proper documentation has been completed for each shipment
• To follow safe work procedures and act safely in the workplace at all times
• To communicate with dispatch and customers throughout the day
