Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance and a knack for resolving outstanding payments? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit and Collections Coordinator for our downtown client. This role is 4 days in office 1 day work from home. As a Credit and Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's credit and collection activities, ensuring timely payments from customers and minimizing bad debts
Duties :
Coordinate credit and collections policies and procedures
Reduce volume of past due accounts and write offs
Contact and communicate with clients and internal parties
Maintain collections documents and files
Review AR Aging reports
Review and execute WIP write-offs
Preform credit checks
Manage the relationship and involvement of third-party collection agencies
Must Have's:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field strong asset
Proven experience as a Credit and Collections Specialist or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of credit management principles, collections techniques, and relevant laws and regulations.
Proficiency in using financial software and tools for credit analysis and collections management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations and build rapport with customers.
