The South Area Groundwater Science Team provides support, advice and enforcement for sustainable groundwater management in the interest of the environment and public safety through sound science, collaboration and policy development.
Working in a range of settings, the Groundwater Protection Officer carries out statutory responsibilities to promote and verify compliance with the Water Sustainability Act and Groundwater Protection Regulation and provides critical technical expertise on groundwater protection and management issues within a designated region.
