DATA ENTRY CLERK (Digitization of Physical Records)

Engagement Type: Contract

Number of Resources required: 3

Rate: Up to $22 per hour

Term: 11 months (May 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024) with 6-month extension

Hours per day: 7.25

Tri-global Solutions Group Inc. is seeking three (3) Data Entry Clerks to join our talent Service Delivery team at Government of Alberta (GoA) to support the Digitization of Physical Records.

The successful contractor(s) have an anticipated May 1, 2023 start date for an initial 11-month contract (ending March 31, 2024) with 6-month extension available (total contract term up to 17-months). NOTE, two (2) of the (3) three available positions have an initial end date of December 31, 2023 with 6-month extension available (total contract term up to 14-months).

NOTES ON LOCATION: Resource(s) will work on-site full-time. Work must be done from office locations within Alberta. Client has identified office location as, 9945 - 108 Street, Edmonton, Alberta.

PROJECT OVERVIEW / DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Candidate will be responsible for accurately entering information into database and assist with other clerical duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Entering data into database or excel.
  • Filing.
  • Scanning, copying, organizing, and stamping paper work.
  • Prepare, fax and confirm documents.
  • Assist with any other office duties as required.

MANDATORY SKILLS

- Proposed resource must have a high school diploma

- Experience working in a role that requires exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)

- Proposed resource must have exceptional organization skills and an ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities

- Proposed resource must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced environment

- Proposed resource must have experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) (1+ years)

- Proposed resource must have data entry experience (0.5+ years)

- Work must be done from office locations within Alberta, as this work must be done on-site. Standard Hours of work are 8:15 am - 4:30 pm Alberta time

DESIRABLE / NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

- Previous experience in a similar role (0.5+ years)

- Experience in an Information Management environment working with records/documents (0.5+ years)

- Experience working in the public sector (1+ years)

- Experience performing data entry (0.5+ years)

- Experience scanning documents (0.5+ years)
