This position will play a critical role in data implementation as part of Unify Release 5 for GDS and Alliance. As a Specialist, you will provide subject matter expertise around data profiling, scoping, quality review, conversion approach, validations, and associated issue resolution for your assigned workstream.
This is a temporary fixed term 18-month assignment.
What you will do:

Lead planning and communication of the data work during each Unify phase.

Lead onboarding of the System Integration during the Mobilization phase

As a Specialist this role develops recommendations to aid in decision making
-
Responsible to convey highly technical messages in a way that other stakeholders are able to understand and operationalize.

Accountable to ensure execution of data readiness scope and deliverables to meet program timelines.

Leverage data expertise to provide support and input to Unify Functional teams, Business SMEs and the System Integrator for data profiling, extraction, cleansing, conversion and validation.

Coordinate work with the Function team to define the Mock dataset strategy and sequence.

Identify data readiness issues and challenges, provide recommendations to remediate, plan and execute resolution and escalate as required.

Lead in Level 5 process reviews with functional teams to identify any data impacts.

Participate in Conversion Functional Design reviews to ensure the process, data mapping, and data rules are accurately captured.

Identify data readiness opportunities for optimization and execution in order to maximize efficiencies, making recommendations.

May be responsible to oversee a specialized team or day to day operations.
Who you are:
-
Related university degree in Business or Technology
-
you have 6+ years of related experience with data transformation on large enterprise programs.
-
Experience with SAP, EBS, Oracle Cloud, or Maximo
-
you are able to identify risks and issues and recommend actions to remedy and escalate when necessary.

You are Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project
-
You have Industry experience in energy storage and distribution.

You have experience with large scale, complex project go-lives (i.e. cutovers)
-
Experience with Internal Controls and mapping to business processes is an asset.

Experience with data sustainment and enterprise data governance is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility with the ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet and legs, and/or hands and arms.
