The Delivery Driver works under the supervision of the Operations Manager, and under the direction of the Warehouse Coordinator.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure all orders are delivered in a timely & accurate fashion.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly throughout the day
- Maintain a complete driver’s log, ensuring the customer sign off on delivery
- Follow Warehouse Coordinators direction with regards to delivery routes and scheduling
- Maintain ongoing communication with Warehouse Coordinator
- Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers and co-workers
- Responsible for keeping delivery vehicles clean & presentable when in use
- Any other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Physically fit; able to work on your feet and lift 75 lbs regularly throughout the day
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes
- Delivery experience an asset
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Clean Drivers Abstract will be a condition of employment
