GP8 Water is a fast-growing company that focuses on providing sustainably sourced and packaged premium bottled water to major hospitality groups and retailers across North America. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team!

Summary:

We are hiring a delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work efficiently, delivering cases of bottles water to multiple locations, while providing great service to our customers. The job involves loading the deliveries for the day onto the truck, and deliver them to each location according to the planned schedule you will be provided. You will ideally have previous experience as a delivery driver, and a positive and friendly attitude. You must be able to work efficiently, communicating with other members of the team, and following all instructions given by the production manager.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with the possibility of overtime days.

Salary: $23 per hour

You Will:

• Follow all safety protocols during the shift, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Perform checks on the vehicle before and after the shift, completing any necessary paperwork
• Follow the delivery schedule and make appropriate notes for each stop, obtaining signatures upon delivery
• Offload each delivery according to the location requirements, which will be a mixture of unloading by hand, using a dolly, and assisting some locations with forklift or dock offloads
• Communicate regularly with the office and warehouse regarding your deliveries
• Comply with local, provincial and federal laws governing driver fitness and conduct on the road
• Handle any customer enquires and complaints in a professional manner, directing them to the appropriate person for resolution

You Have:

• 1+ years as a commercial delivery driver
• Current drivers licence (G licence or above)
• An excellent driving record
• Forklift licence or experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently/without direct supervision and ask relevant questions as required to complete the outlined task
• Will speak, read, and write English
• Can follow, observe, and enforce all safety rules and regulations
• Will work overtime or longer hours as workflow dictates
• Ability to respond quickly to requests and adjust to production schedules, etc.
• Ability to routinely lift and carry heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
