We invite applications for the position of full-time Delivery Driver to join our Maintenance team in Stony Plain, AB. The successful candidate will be available Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and extra hours may be required daily dependent on the daily deliveries.

What you’ll do:

Be responsible to carry out deliveries in a safe, timely, and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service to all NCC members and customers. This includes the safe operation, preparation, and inspection of the delivery unit.

  • Operate the delivery unit in a safe and lawful manner and practice safe handling of products, and other equipment at all times, including completing daily truck and trailer safety checks
  • Verify that the product type(s) and quantity(s) match the delivery manifest before travelling
  • Adhere to all Alberta Traffic laws and regulations in addition to completing pre & post trip vehicle inspections
  • Keep track of and report any vehicle maintenance and repairs that need addressing (oil changes, tire rotations and windshield replacements etc.)
  • Support North Central Co-op with other functions, duties and special projects on an as needed or required basis

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • You have a valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • You have Delivery Driver experience
  • Are able to provide a 5-year driver’s abstract in good standing and Letter of Experience
  • You are familiar with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • You are physically able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
