The position

Reporting to the Director, Ecommerce, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for acquiring new Digital customers and retaining existing Digital customers through the management of our Paid Advertising and Organic Search acquisition channels. This role will own the customer journey from awareness through to site experience for these channels, and will report on the value and outcomes of these channels to the business.

This Digital Marketing Specialist can work from our Workshop in Canmore, Alberta, Hybrid or Remote.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, execute, manage and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns across various platforms to drive Digital New Customer Acquisition as well as to retain existing customers
• Work with the Content Marketing Manager and Ecommerce team to develop and implement comprehensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to increase website visibility and search engine rankings
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop content and assets for PPC ads and website content for PPC/Organic landing pages to increase conversion
• Conduct A/B tests with various customer segments using targeted and personalized content to optimize conversion for Paid and Organic channels
• Monitor, analyze, and report weekly on KPIs to ensure PPC campaigns and organic traffic are driving new Digital customers, and is profitable for both acquisition and retention
• Develop an appropriate attribution model to help understand the customer journey through different acquisition channels
• Stay up to date on privacy and technology updates that affect Paid and Organize Search channels

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required
• 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field is required
• Experience driving new customer acquisition through PPC within the Canadian Retail market is required. Experience with Health and Beauty brands is an asset
• Experience with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
• Strong understanding of SEO and PPC best practices, and digital marketing concepts (cookie-based data collection, attribution modeling, AB/N & multivariate testing and SEO)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
