Job Description

As Hospitality Director, this position requires that:

Be fully responsible to develop, execute, benchmark and maintain an on-site catering program and customer service training programs required to achieve a successful catering service unit and achieve high levels of guest/client satisfaction.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Hospitality Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Oversee all operations in a catering service unit
  • Manage team of employees, including servers and cooks
  • Establish and maintain great client relationships
  • Work with client team to assist with planning events
  • Coordinate catering needs as required
  • Execute event and catering services
  • Ensure compliance with best practices within Compass Group
  • Conduct tasting & sampling events
  • Local & Regional Market Analysis
  • Sustainability, Balance & Health & Wellness
  • Local, Regional & National Trend research
  • Responsible for unit financials
  • Prepare monthly reports of all initiatives and results
  • Put tools in place to receive feedback. Track and respond to feedback
  • Ensure compliance to HSQA standards

  • Previous work experience in a customer facing role within a catering and / or food service environment
  • High energy, creative, solution focused, results oriented
  • Able to work closely with, and form highly productive working relationships across, a wide range of customer, unit management, clients and corporate stakeholders
  • Strong, well-developed verbal, written & social media communication skills are a must
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality or Marketing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
