Full Time - Operations Centre Dispatcher
Job Duties:
- Receive and interpret incoming information
- Dispatch security agents to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, and other events
- Communicate all details for officers to conduct their job appropriately
- Conduct status checks, maintaining communication with security staff throughout the shift
- Log details of radio transmission, phone calls, and other communication, ensuring an accurate record is kept
- Making phone calls to cover upcoming open shifts based on the Open Shift Report as well as filling cancellations and short notice book offs
- Create, Maintain and update work schedules and maintaining database is up to date with correct information
- Other duties as required from time to time
Qualifications:
- Ability to clearly communicate by phone, two-way radio, and in person, and relay information to team members
- Ability to prioritize work, remain calm under pressure and multi-task calls while operating computer systems simultaneously
- Customer Service Oriented mindset
- Strong computer and typing skills to notate and document details quickly
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
- Security minded in professionally handling incoming calls and providing outgoing information
- Prior dispatch/call centre experience will be considered a major asset
