Minimum Requirements:
- One year of relative experience, preferably in operations and/or maintenance
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A clear Driver’s License, proof will be requested
Responsibilities:
- Show your dedication and support the terminal operation to improve our safety culture and overall safety performance
- Manage fuel material by receiving product into tanks via rail and marine vessels, transferring product from tank to tank, and draining and preparing equipment for maintenance
- Hook up and offload railcars and accurately complete documentation as required
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment including tank roof inspections, boiler monitoring and tank level verification
- Conduct sampling and testing as per the schedule or when required due to quality issues
- Maintain competencies by reading and understanding new procedures or relevant changes to the manuals and documentation, and ensure regulatory training and certifications are up to date
Location and other Key Details:
- You will be located at 300 - 106th St, PO Box 10550, Thunder Bay, ON, P7B 6T9 at our Thunder Bay Terminal
- The shift schedule is six days one week, two days the second week; working on 10-hour shifts to equal 80 hours per week
- This position is safety sensitive
- You will be required to perform all essential physical aspects and responsibilities of the role with the mechanical aptitude to capably handle the operation of terminal equipment and maintenance in an all-weather outdoor environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
