Description: Our client in Ottawa is seeking a Electrical/ Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team here in Ottawa developing new and exciting Photonic & Optoelectronic Products. Candidates should have experience in designing and testing Optoelectronics. Ideal candidates should also have Project Management or Coordinator Experience.

Day to Day, you will help the team(s) by leading ans supporting on assigned projects through their life cycles, from concept to implementation. This includes SOWs, proposals, requirements management, financials/ budgets, and working with outside vendors on manufacturing of PCBs and other electronics.

Some duties include:

• Define concise goals and objectives within a project framework
• Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.
• Define and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints
• Conduct project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation
• Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and "manage" the stakeholders. This includes escalate issues to the next level of management

Top Skills Details:

Project Management or Lead Experience, Ideally in Electronics Industry

Design, Test, and/or Manufacturing experience of Electronics such as PCBs (Minimum 5 years)

Configuration Management/ ERP Systems
