Summary of Your Impactful Contribution:

  • To report to the Production Manager and communicate all matters pertaining to the wiring and terminations of all electrical components within the PythonX structural fabrication system.
  • To build electrical panels for new installations and for the upgrading of existing equipment.
  • To troubleshoot any problems which occur within the plant, either on the facility itself or on production equipment.
  • To follow maintenance schedule as closely as production permits, and when equipment is down temporarily perform such functions as replacing motors, bearings, springs, contacts and on / off switches.
  • To know that the company safety procedures are contained in reference books, such as SSW Specifications, Plant Rules and Regulations, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • To immediately notify management if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding safety procedures.
  • To continually meet company housekeeping and safety requirements, to identify and report any safety hazards within the plant, meet all WHMIS objectives and standards ensuring that all safety procedures are met.
  • To participate co-operatively as an employee within the Company Performance Appraisal Process and Merit Rating System.

•To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Maintenance Manager in a timely and professional manner.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • More than 2 years of Licensed experience
  • College or Trade Diploma
  • Must hold current Certified 442A Industrial Electrician's License (Ontario - Canada)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • Preferred apprenticeship program completion
