Advanced Medical Solutions Inc. (AMS) has an opportunity for an Emergency Medical Responder to join our team in Yellowknife, NT.

This is a night shift at Yellowknife's Giant Mine, a great opportunity to enter our program and start developing your career in Emergency Medicine. This is a 3 week posting starting June 15, one day orientation (prior to first on duty shift) will be required.

EMR Job Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team to provide the highest and most effective patient care possible.
• Assess extent of injuries or illness of patients to determine emergency medical treatment required.
• Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided.
• Care and Maintenance of issued equipment and Administration responsibilities.

EMR Job Requirements:

• License – valid & in good standing
• EMR Emergency Medical Responder
• CMA accredited program or EMP Canada EMR Program
• HCP CPR Provider or BLS
• WHMIS
• Class 4 Driver’s License-(preferred)
• Drivers Abstract – in good standing
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days)
• Current Medical & Immunization Records
• Emergency Vehicle Operator certification or equivalent preferred
