Forklift Operators Needed in Stoney Creek

Our client's are looking for long term employees that will lead to a permanent placement with benefits.

Schedule available:

Lift Truck Operator/Material Handler – 6am-3pm & 330pm-1215am(must rotate weekly to be hired permanant) Must have 2-3 years the job experience. (please send resume and lift truck license) - ($19.50-20.02/hr with Vacation Pay included) - Located in Stoney Creek

Job Summary for all Options:

Receive and store finished goods, raw material, and WIP products. Shipper will pull required picklist from QAD system, locate product, and prepare for shipment in compliance with customer and company standards. The shipper will scan product following the approved shipping procedures, produce, sort, and distribute shipping paperwork. If any changes are required to quantities or shipment timing, the shipper will obtain authorization from supervisor. Quickly, and safely, load and unload trucks of various sizes.

Responsibilities:

• Enter all incoming packing slips in a timely and accurate manner.
• Confirm incoming paperwork to the actual inbound shipment to ensure accuracy
• Prepare stock for production.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventories, participate in all physical inventories, keep warehouse and finished goods storage areas neat and orderly.
• Assist in maintaining the outside storage areas in a neat and efficient layout.
• Be aware of any anomalies in labels and be cognizant of customer requirements on all outbound shipments
• Must work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be receptive to overtime requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A valid lift truck license or had been previously been certified in house is required
• Strong math skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Exemplary attendance record is an absolute must.
• Applicable Education is an asset
• Demonstrated working knowledge of MS office, QAD and asset
• Experience in a Just in Time environment an asset

Candidates must have a valid Social Insurance Number (WE DO NOT PAY CASH) and own a pair of CSA steel toed footwear.
