This position provides the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays each week, with the requirement to report to the primary NOVA Chemicals work location on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Employees can opt out of the hybrid schedule and will be expected to work Monday-Friday from the primary work location.

We are seeking a Full Stack .NET Web Developer to join our Modern Workplace Team within our Information Technology Infrastructure organization.

If you have experience in SharePoint Online development, SharePoint administration, Java-Script frameworks (EXT.js), Azure DevOps and agile frameworks such as SCRUM, we encourage you to get involved and apply for this position. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining web applications and SharePoint solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users.

This position can be located in Sarnia, Ontario; Calgary, Alberta; Red Deer, Alberta; or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

You Will Use Your Expertise To:
Design, develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ, etc.
Design, develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions using SharePoint Framework using PNP, CSOM, REST API, PowerShell, etc.
Design, develop and maintain user interfaces primarily using Sencha Ext JS following the MVVM design pattern, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
Administer and configure SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, workflows, permissions, etc.
Use Azure DevOps for source control, build, deployment and testing of web applications and SharePoint solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web applications and Office 365 solutions.
Collaborate with other developers, testers, business analysts and project managers in an agile environment.
Follow best practices and standards for web development and SharePoint development.

What We Are Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

5-7 years of experience in the following:
Web development using .NET Framework and C#
SharePoint Online development using SharePoint Framework, PNP,CSOM, REST API, PowerShell, etc.
User interface development using JavaScript frameworks notably EXT.js.
User interface development using Sencha Ext JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JS frameworks using MVC or MVVM, etc.
Experience in administering and configuring SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, workflows, permissions, etc. would be an asset
Strong knowledge of web development and SharePoint development concepts, tools and technologies
Strong problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements

Current certificates in any of the following are an asset:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
