Anytime Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. We are looking to fill 1 full-time position at our No.5 and Steveston Location

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid and active Personal Training certification recognized in Canada (e.g. BCRPA, ISSA, ACE, NASM, CanFitPro, CSCS, etc).

- Active CPR/First Aid Certification

- Must be legally able to work in Canada

- Possess knowledge, skills, and abilities to create and conduct safe and effective exercises for a wide variety of participants

- Must be comfortable and confident with fitness program design, program instruction, and influencing behaviour change. The personal trainer does this by conducting Fitness Consultations, Traditional (1-on-1) Training, Small Group Training, and additional programming opportunities as deemed appropriate by the individual club.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Providing guidance education and most importantly, developing rapport with all members

- Executing above-average customer service skills and being on a mission to provide a personable experience with everyone they meet.

- Trainers are responsible for the general upkeep of the club (equipment and floor cleanliness), sales and marketing for programming, and proactive outreach to inactive members to assist in retention efforts.

- Trainers will conduct consultations that each member is entitled to

- Trainers will conduct 60-minute one-on-one or Small Group Training sessions with fitness members

Availability required:

- Must be able to fulfill a minimum of 25 hours per week for the first 90 days of employment.

Availability: Monday to Friday 12pm-8pm (3-8pm to start, training hours may differ the first week)

*Note: You will not be required to work the entirety of the availability listed above, just have an availability for those days. Scheduling details will be adjusted and finalized with the hiring manager during the final stages of hiring.
