About Us:

TST-CF express is a division of TFI International Inc., located in Windsor, is currently recruiting for a Garage Supervisor.

Reporting to the National Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for supervising the maintenance and repairs of motorized and non-motorized equipment in the Windsor Shop. The ideal candidate will have experience within a unionized work environment.

Primary responsibilities are to:

• Plan, direct, and control vehicle preventative maintenance and repairs, while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Establish, plan, and monitor garage requirements to ensure maximum productivity and utilization of the repair facility, equipment and materials.
• Control monthly expenditures, repair costs and operate within budgetary objectives.
• Monitor and control garage efficiency while ensuring units are serviced in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance to safety, accident prevention, environmental regulations, and respective Federal fleet regulatory standards.
• Ability to supervise and develop the garage team while adhering to and meeting tight timelines.
• Maintain accurate online maintenance records.
• Maintain stock ordering, inventory levels and shop purchasing.
• Communicate with other departments in order to resolve service issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 3-5 years supervisory experience within a shop environment.
• Valid 310T preferred.
• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to multi-task.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate with sound knowledge of Excel.
