What are we looking for?

• 2-4 years of general labour experience in construction/infrastructure. Sewer/water or tunneling environment is considered an asset.
• Comfortable working below ground level and in small spaces.
• Current valid Working at Heights certification would be an asset.
• Good physical health for the purposes of access and egress deep trenches and climbing up and down stairs/ladders.
• Comfortable working outdoors in the elements.
• Travel to sites within the GTA as required.

What will you be doing?

• Assist in the installation of sanitary and storm water sewer structures, catch basins, manholes and pipe systems.
• Assist in moving and aligning concrete and plastic pipes.
• Ensure company material and work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
• Direct traffic and assist operators as required.
• Assist in the site preparation and dismantling of sites as assigned
• Other duties as assigned.

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Heavy Construction: 2 years (preferred)
• Sewer & Watermain/Road Work: 1 year (preferred)
