Overview of the Position

Princess Auto’s Graphic Design team is the creative force behind the delivery of Princess Auto’s strategic marketing message.

As a Graphic Designer at Princess Auto, you would create attractive and compelling advertisements that drive increased customer traffic into Princess Auto stores. You would be responsible for the production, design and development of the National and Regional flyer program. You would also participate in special campaigns and projects related to promoting Princess Auto’s Brand image.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, based out of our Winnipeg Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinates the production of individual flyer campaigns in accordance with the production schedule and event build
• Participates in peer reviews of flyer and other tactical sales events
• Participates in flyer planning meetings and creates mock-up ideas for campaigns
• Designs flyer covers with specified themes (as per Event Plan) to increase sales
• Creates and updates templates for flyers and other tactical events
• Creates and designs various materials for digital and print following the campaign creative brief
• Ensures artwork and all layouts meet production requirements throughout the development process
• Creates and updates manuals and reference files on tasks performed within the Marketing Design Team for training and development of Team Members
• Communicates with print companies and provides them with print ready files that meet our specifications and deadlines

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Post-secondary education; diploma or degree in graphic design or computer graphics preferred
• 1 -2 years related experience
• Product knowledge is an asset
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop)
• Comfortable in a Windows environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good technical writing skills
• Detail oriented
