The Linehandler is responsible to execute the activities related to the handling of vessel mooring lines during tie-up and cast off procedures, monitor security at the locks by performing inspections and monitoring cameras, and perform minor general labour and lock maintenance tasks, in order to ensure the safe, secure and efficient transit of vessels.
- Perform all activities related to receiving and casting off mooring lines for vessels.
- Perform general lock maintenance duties and assist in handling minor emergency repairs to lock equipment.
- Perform any activities related to security of the operational facilities, in compliance with the applicable security requirements.
- Apply safe work methods in compliance with corporate safety programs and applicable legislation.

- Completion of Seaway Linehandler Training
- Valid Class G (ON) or Class 5 (QC) driver's license and insurable driving record
Hours of work
: 20 to 40 hours per week
Salary range:$28.64/hour (min) to $30.85/hour (max)
