Summary:

As a Domestic Cleaner with Bloomsdale, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients in and around the GTA or Durham Region. We are searching for a diligent cleaner with a positive attitude, great stamina and dedication to provide desired results and respect for the home and its inhabitants.

Responsibilities of these positions may include but are not limited to:

• Dusting, mopping, sweeping and washing; floors, toilets, showers, tubs, driveways, windows, and counters.
• Vacuuming carpets, upholstery, and any other dusty surfaces.
• Making Beds and fluffing pillows.
• Sanitizing all relevant surfaces.
• Cleaning all surfaces in living rooms, kitchen, and bathroom.
• Carefully handling furniture and appliances.
• Carefully using cleaning chemicals for specific areas.
• Adhere to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures of Bloomsdale Health Services.
• Work within the Ethical Practice Framework of Bloomsdale Health Services.
• Clean, sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment before and after use.

Domestic Cleaner Requirements:

• High School Diploma or similar
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle is a plus.
• Fully Vaccinated (COVID-19).
• Good knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning chemicals.
• Availability to work days OR evenings including weekends.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty (25) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.

Status: On Call/Contract

All workers must abide by COVID-19 safety regulations. Proof of full vaccination (2 doses) required.

Salary: $18.00 per hour
