About The Role

HUB International’s Personal Insurance department in our Oakville office continues to grow and we are currently looking for a strong, hands-on Account Manager. This is an ideal role for someone who brings a strong Personal Insurance Broker background, customer focused approach, supports growth and retention and able to deliver excellent client service.

What You’ll Do

Manage servicing all aspects of personal insurance policies

Ability to provide excellent service to client inquiries in an effective and timely manner

Ensure new business and retention targets are met, including by means of re-marketing

Cross-sell and up-sell of other insurance and financial products to existing clients

Complete assigned tasks and request from underwriting and various carriers

Ability to assess risk and ensure appropriate coverages have been provided to clients

Resolve client concerns and issues in a professional manner

What You’ll Need for Success

College Diploma/University Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 5+ years of personal lines broker experience or equivalent

RIBO Licensed

CIP / CAIB an asset

Personal service & call rotation background an asset

Experience with Personal Lines multiple markets and various company portals

Strong communication skills: written and verbal

Excellent problem-solving skills and customer focused

Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook

Epic broker management system experience an asset or other systems
