AutoCanada's Canadian Operations segment currently operates 60 franchised dealerships in Canada, comprised of 24 brands, in 8 provinces. As part of the Marketing team that supports these dealerships, you will play a key role in how our Marketing efforts translate directly into sales at the dealership. An increase in Internet sales is critical to our growth strategy, so you will bring with you your experience handling internet leads, increasing close rates and optimizing online lead generation.
The Internet Sales Specialist is not only responsible for leveraging our CRM system and providing dealers with the data and best practices in iLead handling but working with the marketing team to make sure the leads we drive to the dealers are maximized to convert. You are a curious soul that gets excited about data, testing new ideas, and capitalizing on any opportunity to sell more cars! You will be the iLead and CRM systems expert to support our internet sales teams/BDCs in the dealerships as well as the Marketing team to make sure we are moving the most metal. Your Day to Day:
- Leverage data software & sales tools to review/compare data sets within CRM & make recommendations to drive sales
- Support dealers with Company best practices on iLead handling
- Build and/or modify reports & dashboards for sales, marketing and dealership operations to assist in lead generation
- Use current internet lead handling and sales data to make solid data-driven decisions
- Ensure that the dealership’s online presence is set up to maximize their iLead handling efforts
- Support lead generation & customer success management projects
- Own the flow of lead information and how it makes its way through our systems accurately and effectively
- Implement and action sales automation features to improve efficiencies
- Initiate and execute on opportunities for internet sales such as Email/SMS campaigns, marketing automation, & general marketing plugins for CRM
- Conduct ad hoc analysis, build lists, segments, & deliverables to marketing
- Work with your marketing teammates to analyze performance of marketing campaigns or special initiatives to increase conversion
What You Bring to the Table:
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years automotive internet sales or BDC experience
- You know your way around a CRM & dealership software (VIN Solutions, CDK, 180, Reynold & Reynolds, Salesforce, Activix, Rapid RTC, Tableau, etc.) is considered an asset
- You’re a killer with Microsoft Excel (hands-on experience with formulas, comparing datasets, etc.
- You have some experience with large data sets
- You’re adaptable and a quick learner, who can use other team members proactively when you need help
- You’re organized and a stickler for details
- You can work on your own and don’t need to be hand-held through your daily tasks
- You’re comfortable talking to people and know how to discuss data and results
- You have an ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and can sort out what is a priority and what is not
