The Technology and Business Transformation Branch (TBTB) at the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training (AEST) supports the Information Management and Information Technology requirements of the Ministry. TBTB provides leadership, direction, support and expertise to ensure that all mandated key strategic information management and information technology projects, critical business and other initiatives are delivered in scope, on time, on budget and with the agreed upon functionality and business results. TBTB responsibilities include defining and managing the application development architecture, developing and promoting digital and information technology standards, servicing client line of business information systems and managing system development projects.
The Digital Services for Students and Schools team provides operational support including planned and unplanned beak fixes, tactical enhancements and support for major upgrades to a suite of applications used by Student Aid BC, Private Training Institutions and internal corporate teams. The team provides expert advice to senior staff and leads delivery of multiple maintenance and enhancement projects.
