TD IT Build covers a number of functional disciplines or practice areas. These technology professionals demonstrate incredible commitment through their participation in a combination of build-related functions or activities, such as:

  • Application and implementation of platform design patterns and standards for infrastructure components across various platform domains;
  • Delivery Management functions within the build mandate to co-ordinate and drive deployment- related activities;
  • Structured focus on project delivery to implement deliverables for their respective and specialized areas of infrastructure build; and
  • Specialized Services functions that provision contact center infrastructure and network-related infrastructure work for Real Estate and/or Branch environments, hardware assets etc.

Job Description

We are looking for someone to provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical and functional specifications that align with standards and frameworks. You will work in close partnership with our ambitious business and technology partners, project teams and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications.
Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manager. Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:

  • Work with technology partners (e.g. Solution Designers and Architects) to research and analyze current state system capabilities and define technology solutions options and recommendations.
  • Define, document and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, taking into account non-functional requirements.
  • Assist testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to project management activities such as: scoping and estimating project efforts, identifying risks and recommending mitigation measures, communicating activity status, as well as escalating and communicating possible issues.
  • Participate in quality management reviews, including designs, prototypes and other requirements work products.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing work processes and systems, and pinpoint how to manage integration.
  • Provide operational and process-related analysis and support.
  • Respect existing processes and standards including requirements management and project management disciplines, technology delivery and business technology architecture, escalating issues as needed.
  • Gain knowledge in own area, stay abreast of technology trends and developments, develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools and techniques, business domains and their products and services.
  • Work with vendors to support business case development (consistent with technology requirements and guidelines) including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements
  • Coach new or less experienced colleagues and serve as a reference point throughout requirements management life cycle.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/ 11, MAC OS operations systems, Microsoft Office 365 (all products), OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Groups administration
  • Understanding of voice communications, Teams calls in MS Teams, Enterprise/Cloud based Voice, Cloud Video Interop (CVI), and general telephony
  • Familiarity with the underlying service architecture of Microsoft Teams including Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory and relevant licensing
  • Strong knowledge of Conferencing system management such as Cisco Webex, Cisco Telepresence, Microsoft Teams, Polycom presence or other and Boardroom audiovisual solutions such as Crestron, Poly, and Logitech.
  • Participate in all stages of the product life cycle (purchase, upgrade, inventory management, problem resolution, follow-up with suppliers, EOL, etc.)
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using statistical analysis tools such as SaaS (Software as a service)
  • Gather and analyze large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Experienced in Audio Video Design, budget, and project management.
