Micro Thermo Technologies (Western) Inc. is the largest provider of Automated Controls for major grocery retailers in Western Canada. From our base in Burnaby, BC and with technicians located in multiple provinces, we have completed over 1000 projects in the 4 western provinces and 3 territories since 2000. We work in the Refrigeration, HVAC and Lighting control sector, using the Micro Thermo control platform from Parker Hannifin. With the Micro Thermo Product, we continue to deliver unique and innovative solutions for our clients on-time, on scope and on budget. Our solutions simplify life for retail operators by dramatically reducing service costs, food waste and providing energy efficiency.

Our Opportunity

We are looking for a ticketed Refrigeration Mechanic to become an Integrator for Refrigeration and HVAC controls. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for completing installations, managing personnel and sub-trades. You will also be required to coordinate with contractors to reach a projects completion. Travel is required within Western Canada for this opportunity. Our territory ranges from Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete controls integration of Micro Thermo Alliance software.
• Install controls hardware for Refrigeration, HVAC and Lighting systems.
• Provide end user training to customers and other professional users.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Requirements:

• Strong organization skills, good communication skills, assertive and detail oriented;
• Good computer skills; Micro Thermo Alliance experience is an asset.
• Must have experience with Refrigeration compressor racks; CO2 experience an asset.
• Understanding of construction industry; Comfortable on Construction sites.
• Grocery Store experience is an asset
• Experience in Refrigeration Controls and a strong electrical understanding;
• A commitment to ongoing learning and an openness to new processes;

Compensation is based on UA 516 collective agreement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $69.88 per hour
