Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support a dedicated group of internal customers. Your responsibilities will be:

• Prepare the specified sections and GL accounts of the monthly financial statements - gross profit (cost ratio, discounts earned/paid), advertising, salaries, miscellaneous expenses (other tasks).
• Reconciling balance sheet items - write-offs and bad debt collections
• Collection Report - Audit
• Participate in environmental tax rebate process - reconcile rebate reports with GL
• Training on accounting procedures and policies and monitoring of internal control policies
• Takes part in the preparation of budget files for support documents (sales, salaries, etc.).
• Assists with year-end and special projects

Qualifications

• BAC in Accounting or DEC in Accounting with 3 years of experience
• Very good knowledge of the Office Suite (Excel and Outlook)
• Bilingual, French and English (spoken / written)
