Job Description

We are looking for a Junior First Line Support Engineer to provide technical support to our customers and internal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resolving customer issues, answering support tickets, and providing solutions to technical problems. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Although this is a Hybrid role, it is 98% work from home. We only require the person in this role to visit our Laval office once every two weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or support ticket system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and networking equipment.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as required.
  • Document and maintain customer support tickets and resolutions.
  • Provide training and support to customers on our products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal support processes.

Requirements

Education and Certification:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a first line support role.
  • Comfortable speaking in both English and French.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and internet protocols.
  • Experience with helpdesk software and remote support tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
