The ideal candidate should possess a combination of education and experience that would serve to enhance the school, staff and students at St. Michael’s School

The successful candidate must:

• Teach all subject areas with the exception of music to kindergarten students
• Possess a strong background in literacy and numeracy
• Be self-directed, independent and highly motivated as an individual
• Form part of a collaborative teaching team that fulfills modern teaching and assessment practices
• Have strong classroom management, interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Education required
• Temporary or permanent teaching authority (new graduates please refer to Teacher certification in Alberta)
• Competent in the use of technology (Power School, Interactive Boards, Google and Microsoft Suite)
