Job Title: Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher

Location: Liberte Cafe & Restaurant. 3670 Vanness Ave Vancouver. Walking distance to Joyce Skytrain Station. Secure underground parking available.

Liberte Cafe & Restaurant is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Helper to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, has at least 1 year of commercial kitchen experience, and is willing to learn and grow with our company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation as directed by the kitchen manager.
• Wash dishes and keep the kitchen area clean and organized.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with cooking tasks as needed and directed by the kitchen manager.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask efficiently.
• Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of commercial kitchen experience.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one prior to starting.

We offer competitive compensation starting at $18/hour plus tips, at least 35 hours per week, and extended care benefits are available. Our kitchen manager will provide training and support to ensure your success in this role.
