Welcome to EagleCraft Boats!

At our plant in beautiful Campbell River, British Columbia, our talented team of 25 full-time staff specializes in designing and building custom aluminum boats. Well represented across the globe, our company is proud to have built over 800 aluminum quality vessels ranging from pleasure crafts to commercial work boats.


Job Description


What will you do?

  • Ensure that company property, building, vehicles and tools are safe, secure, operational, organized and clean;
  • Safely operate equipment and vehicles related to the job's needs;
  • Perform scheduled and as-needed maintenance/inspection/calibration/repairs according to machinery specifications ;
  • Ensure work area is kept clean and organized to reduce or remove hazards;
  • Follow all applicable Eaglecraft Boats and WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • Complete general shop duties as assigned (deburr aluminum, move material, unload/organize deliveries, clean boats, etc)
  • Assist production or other departments, as needed.


Qualifications


What do you need to succeed?

  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing/shop/construction environment preferred;
  • Technical certificates and/or professional certifications preferred (crane, forklift, Worksafe training, welding, painting, carpentry);
  • Valid driver’s license required;
  • Continuous physical effort is required (standing, walking, stooping, climbing, grasping/reaching. Lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Regular periods during which there is continuous physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward;
  • Exposure to factors such as temperature variations, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, toxic materials which may cause periods of discomfort, high noise levels;
  • Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed;
  • Noticeable pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands exists.
