Position Overview:
Join the Finning family! Finning Canada is seeking a Washbay Attendant to join our team supporting our client located at Suncor Base Mine. As the Washbay Person you are responsible for assisting with washing all ready-to-rent and post rental equipment.
Our Incentives Include:
- This position supports our client site located at Suncor Base Mine on a 7 x 7 Continuous Shift rotation (transportation to and from site is provided)
- $23.26 / hour Starting Wage
- 12% Regional Wage Allowance
- $300 / year Boot Allowance

- Housing Allowance (available for candidates residing in Fort McMurray)
The successful candidate will follow approved shipping and receiving protocols to safely load/unload customer parts and components and accurately handle incoming and outgoing paperwork.

Job Description:

Performs a variety of washing and cleaning duties including washing, cleaning, testing and rolling all hoses and cables.

Assists warehouse personnel with loading/ unloading equipment and pulling orders as required

Assists yard personnel in ensuring ready-to-rent equipment is presented in an orderly fashion

washing and/or performing light maintenance on rental equipment

Accurately handle all incoming and outgoing paperwork.

Follow approved shipping and receiving protocol.

Load and unload customer parts and components.
**Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**
Qualifications:

Due to physical nature of the work, a requirement of the job is to be considered fit for work in the following environment: fast-paced, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colors, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling

Minimum three months of operating experience of rough terrain forklift, counterbalance forklift, compact construction equipment, large construction equipmentFamiliarity with heavy equipment or a similar industry would be considered an asset

Team player with a keen attention to detail

Experience with heavy equipment or a similar industry would be considered an asset

Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills
