Landscaping Labourer (Temp to Perm)

About Our Client

ESS Direct Powered by Vertical is recruiting for a Landscaping Company in Simcoe County. Due to the travel to the client sites, you would need to have a vehicle, valid driver’s license and be able to work in all weather conditions. The position requires heavy lifting so please be prepared for that before applying.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Landscaping Labourer:

• Candidate will be assisting landscaping team
• Candidate will be working in residential and commercial settings
• Candidate will be moving stone, blocks, dirt, and construction materials

What You Should Have, as a Landscaping Labourer:

• Candidate should have 1-3 years construction labor experience.
• Candidate must be 25 years of age or more for insurance purposes.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in areas that is under construction
• Hand tools experience an asset
• Must have CSA Approved safety boots
• Must work in a safe manner and use proper lifting techniques
• Gloves and other PPE will be provided
• Own transportation and valid driver’s license are required

In Return, You Will Receive:

• $22.00 per hour
• Paid weekly, every Friday
• Lots of overtime available
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will Be Working is:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am to 5:00pm

Where You Will Be Working, as a Landscaping Labourer:

• Shop location to start each day: Penetanguishene Road, Barrie, ON
• Simcoe County residential and commercial clients
